5 aspects to keep in mind

We have many things on our minds and our sphere of concern extends to our loved ones.

Now combine that with the troubling news from the media, and it's easy to get confused as to what's really important.

Our mind fills with fear and when it begins to define us, we can't stop passing it on to those around us. Instead of living confidently and free, we are caged and hindered by the lies our minds are accumulating.

Are you looking to the future, unsure of what it holds? I recommend 5 aspects to keep in mind:

1st. Consider that change brings up many emotions (fear, frustration, and anxiety, to name a few).

2nd. Organize regular meetings for people to express their concerns and encourage them to be honest.

3rd: Tell stories. Stories can be powerful examples of how people overcame challenges. Think about the challenges they face and share stories that relate to them.

4a. Ask "what if" questions. “What would happen if we created our work processes from scratch? What would they look like? “What if we were all consultants? How would we solve problems differently?”

5a. Use change as a catalyst. Treat mistakes as learning opportunities.

Everyone makes mistakes, so encourage collaborators to talk about how their mistakes can help them grow. And build a culture that rewards employees for taking smart risks.
